Returning from Amudat Yesterday I did a medevac from Amudat, Karamoja (North East Uganda, near the border with Kenya). Laurie arrived back from S. Africa by a commercial flight last night. He said he saw some amazing scenery - the patchwork quilt of fields of Tanzania, the rose gardens of Malawi, the very full rivers of Mozambique and the busyness of the airspace in South Africa. I had a meeting with one of the pastors at church, his wife and the kids ministry leader today to discuss a new curriculum with them. We have decided to go ahead with it and will trial it this Sunday morning at the first service.Please pray for the leaders who are going to be helping to lead this initiative and also that it would engage the kids and excite them about learning about Jesus.

Yesterday I (Laurie) was privileged to fly Sir Trevor Macdonald from Kajjansi to Kasese and Mweya. He was on a trip shadowing the Duke of Edinburgh for a documentary coming out next year some time. It was a great day, I took the whole production crew along too and I think that they had a good day. We ended up in Mweya safari lodge all having a cup of tea before heading home late afternoon.I

Today, I went down with the girls to the roundabout at the bottom of our road with a friend and her kids. We knew that the Queen was going to pass sometime soon to go to Mildmay - a Hospice just down the road. We were a very funny bunch of muzungus (white folks) - about 10 of us eventually, that stood to wave as she went by. We even attracted a local news network that interviewed us! What fun!
